IS YOUR HUMOR-METER WORKING OR IS
IT DEAD? Has anyone every told you to lighten up? If those words strike a nerve, it might be time to turn on your Humor-Meter. How would you rate yourself on a scale from 0 to 10 (with 10 being a laugh instigator)? Its important to take your work seriously, but take yourself lightly. If you havent had a good laugh lately about one of your imperfections or embarrassing moments, its time to venture out of that comfort zone and start practicing. (Note: Be kind with your humor.) What having a sense of humor will do for you: -- Its a great ice-breaker. -- People will identify with you. -- Youll be seen as more real and even more likeable. -- It aids in building trust. -- People will want you on their team. -- Others will start listening to you more. -- It can alleviate pain and stress and for that everyone will be grateful.
Laughter is the shorte*st distance between two people. Victor Borge
Research today shows that in many studies humorespecially joking around about the job related issuesactually has a positive impact in the workplace. Occasional laughter enhances creativity, cohesiveness and over-all performance. How much have you laughed today? Have you exercised your funny bone today? Check out our Special Report on Humor skills at: www.kinza.net. A sense of humor is the one requirement for a position here; everything else can be learned. Gary Kelly, CEO Southwest Airlines | |||||

NO PRESCRIPTIONS NEEDED!
The most amazing natural antibiotic is found right in
our own bodies. Just 15 minutes of laughter a day can extend ones life.
Its been found that it doesnt matter whether the laughter generated is
sincere humor or whether one just puts forth the effort and laughs;
wonderful things happen inside us to boost our immune system. We are living in stressful times. Loss of savings,
foreclosures, coping with illness and depression are just a few of the
things plaguing our society. Yet in tough times the human spirit needs to
be lifted and laughter can provide the needed diversion. Know someone who
needs a boost? Get your light heartedness into gear. There is probably
nothing more welcome than the execution of a well-timed, compassionate
look at the bright side. Be so committed to lifting others up that no one
can pull you down. | |||||
